VMC Game Labs

I worked as a Quality Assurance Technician at VMC Game Labs. The title I worked on was a Triple A title that released on multiple platforms. My task was to ensure the game was properly tested to the specification of the publisher and the standards of the console in which we were testing on. I used a suite of in-game tools to debug the game for flaws in progression logic, graphical issues, environment collision and general functionality problems.

My role within the QA group assigned to this project also branched into more leadership driven areas as I was able to assist my fellow testers with answering questions and resolving issues. I also was designated to lead the team's daily tasks if the QA lead was not in the lab / was out.

In this position I was also tasked with helping burn the game onto discs for distribution and testing. In addition, I helped vet issues within the internal bug database and helped continue the bug workflow cycle on a daily basis. I, along with my team, was not credited on the title.
